1. Day 1 — Arrival & old Dubai

   Airport meet and greet, hotel check-in, and a half-day city tour through old Dubai, the souks and a Burj Khalifa photo stop. In the evening, a Marina dhow dinner cruise.

2. Day 2 — Into the dunes & overnight camp

   An afternoon premium desert safari: private 4x4 dune bashing, camel rides, quad bikes and a falcon show. Watch the sunset, then a gala BBQ dinner and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

3. Day 3 — Desert dawn & departure

   Wake to a quiet desert sunrise and breakfast in the dunes. We drive you back to the city for any last shopping, then transfer you to the airport.

The camp is a comfortable Bedouin-style tent in the dunes, not roughing it. Each group gets a private majlis seating area and a proper bed. The evening has live music, shisha and the gala dinner, and the night is quiet and full of stars. In the morning there is breakfast in the open desert before we drive you back to the city.

Is the desert safari safe for families?

Yes, the desert safari is safe and family-friendly when it is run well. Children of all ages can join, and the camp is calm and comfortable for them. We tell the drivers if anyone prefers gentle dune driving, and we can skip the rougher parts for young kids, pregnant guests or anyone with back trouble. Just let us know your group when you book.

When is the best time for a desert trip?

The best time for the desert is October to April, when days are warm and nights are cool and clear. Those clear nights are perfect for stargazing from the camp. Summer is hot, so we move the safari to late afternoon and the camp stays comfortable after dark. We run Desert Royale all year and pick the timing to match the season.
